Oh, did I write that in the
past tense?

...recently finished building (and furnishing) a 10 room, 2 full bath, 74x30 Lego ranch home with a deck out the back...
A woman after my own heart! Much to the teachers' bewilderment, I used to sit in class designing endless floor plans and transcribing them onto graph paper. Then I'd go home and build them in 3D on the computer - or create and furnish multi-level Lego mansions. When I was 11 I won a local lego contest with a scale model of my own house.
My mother still has all the Lego around somewhere... all carefully organized by color and shape. I'd talk her into unpacking it, but I think it would prove a rather dangerous distraction...
