Oh dear, hope everybody is okay, or at least as okay as can be.

Given the related article listed below this on the web page, I wonder if the area is generally earthquake prone?

Back in the days of the dinosaurs Italy broke off from north Africa, and eventually slammed into the belly of Europe thrusting up the Alps. And Italy is still pushing its way north stressing the crust. So yes, all of the mountain ranges that radiate out of the Alps in southeast Europe, like in former Yugoslavia, are geologically active, and have their share of earthquakes.

i live where there are many smaller quakes in a year, we here are overdue for The Big One, i fear.

At least you live in the woods.

I live North of you on the suburbs of what’s known as “the city of glass.” How fking stupid to build skyscrapers sheathed in glass on a major fault line.. def hope I’m not downtown if & when The Big One hits.

my tin can would collapse like a house of cards in a stiff breeze. likely with me in it. oh well, i hear heaven is nice.
