I hope you continue to recover well.

COVID seems to be pretty random in who it affects in what way, I’ve heard of both people who are young and otherwise healthy getting deathly ill and people who are elderly with pre-existing conditions getting through with no symptoms. I have not, however, heard of a particularly mild case of influenza, that’s usually the tip-off that it’s the flu and not a cold, is that you get very sick very quickly, it seems to hit everyone hard.

I had the flu 2 years ago, and I must say I had never been so ill in all my life. My boyfriend caught it from work and gave it to me, but because he had the flu jab he didn't get very ill with it. But I did. My temperature was so high that I began hallucinating, and that has never happened to me before. Luckily though, it only lasted about 3 or 4 days and then I quickly got better, being left with a cough and blocked ears.

Everyone should get the jab. It's not too late. That's my PSA for the day.
