The point is Olbermann was tarring everyone in Texas with the same brush, insinuating that because the state of Texas is very conservative, people deserve to die.

One of my dear friends lives in the Austin area. She despised Trump, has always taken the pandemic seriously, and thankfully, because of serious health issues, just got her first round of the vaccine.

And yeah, your comment was extremely "whataboutism. " The s**tbag governor was not even in this conversation. This was about Olbermann's callous and insane comments.

Still not correct; but whatever...

From the comments in this thread, and from skimming over the past year's worth of news on both s**tbags, I see one as having a lot of local political power, but not as much public exposure; while the other has little political power, but a lot of general public exposure.

I would say they are both about equal insofar as overall s**tbaggery is concerned.
