Do people here like me?

I know that some people do but my mind keeps telling me that the majority don’t and it makes me constantly second guess myself. There are some people I wish I could hear from again but they don’t respond to me and it makes me feel like they dislike me. I wish those thoughts could be put to rest. Do people here like me?

I feel this way here a lot too. Sometimes when I mention it the posters who respond to say they're fond are people I wouldn't expect only because we rarely interact, but I guess if you post enough people get to see more of who you are and can be fond without ever saying anything. A lot of us struggle with knowing what to say here, especially in the more social parts of the site.

There's a lot of new posters since you got active here last. You could try getting to know some of them. Your mindset has been a lot more positive than it was before so you'll likely get a better response.

If people liked you but also felt the need to distance themselves sometimes it's not that they don't like you, just that they don't know how to help and can't deal with how it feels to not be able to help. Hopefully if there's anyone who's done that and is still active they'll reconsider.

I like you and would even like to PM with you more. I have been busy lately though so I haven't responded to your threads a lot.

Also, I sometimes feel how you do on the forums I am on. I think there are a few people on here who wonder if people dislike them from time to time, having autism is hard and a lot of autistic people are used to not being liked by people. I know I'm used to it and it makes me really insecure sometimes.
