I know that this is off topic but I am looking for a forum similar to
this one where I can get support for elder care in general and some
specifics:
How do I care for my dad when my brother and I cannot get along?
How do I "help" my dad with his real estate investments / rental
properties, find a property manager or convince him to sell them and
invest in a mutual fund if he cannot manage the proprieties any more
and doesn't want my "help"?
How do I deal with the emotional strain of the changing roles as my
father (and I) age?

google "aging forums" or "caregiver forums" or "elder care forum"

You don't mention dementia, but there are good forums at the Alzheimer's association and on Reddit.

Anyway, it's the same as you would do to find support forums for anything. Google!

Thanks Bea,
We have one diagnosis of "Parkinson's" and one diagnosis of "not Parkinson's". Parkinson's would come with dementia. What I am seeing is a LOT of executive Function issues since a fall with a blow to the forehead (which may have affected the prefrontal lobes).

I've already mentioned somewhere on this forum before that people generally make a HUGE mistake dismissing importance of physical activity in context of neurodegenerative diseases, while it is very promising for both prevention and as an intervention to slow down progress and even reverse it to some extent.

Here's a discussion you might find very informative: Dr. Giselle Petzinger on Exercise for Parkinson's Disease

I hope it doesn't sound insensitive, I can't know if it's feasible to apply this information in your case, but I believe awareness is helpful anyway. We are all at risk.

Going to drive 6 hours to visit my dad today.
Lots of emotions.
Spending too much time on the internet.
