Is there a list of mods around here somewhere? I can only gather from hushed whisperings and graspings of conversation who is and isn't a mod...is there a thread stating who is? if not, shouldn't there be?

Not all mods necessarily wish to be revealed.
Or something. Many may simply want to handle
the non-controversial issues. I think that the
active ones are quite clear.

Are usually the people logged on the most currently this summer. Personally I would like to see some new mods added.

Yes, but a list for people who need help and such would be great. I remember a couple years back being confused, and having this problem.

I think ShadesOfMe and myself would be good mods

Now that a few are gone, we are good candidates.

Why should they be further troubled with
your issues, if they have no wish to address
them?

Those who want to handle such stuff,
make themselves known. Those who
don't, remain quite. I really don't see
why you want to abuse them.

From my experience, these quite ones
weren't banning anyone, and barely cut
threads. I'd not worry - THOUGH there are
some actions which no one had owned up
to, at the time that I left, so maybe there
ARE some rogue elements. If so, it is really
up to the mods to police themselves in this.
Not too much we can do, except question
their activities publicly.

I agree with TM1 that more mods MIGHT
be necessary, but it seems that a certain
annoyance has mainly found easier targets.

Look, People hold your horses! I am not "abusing" anyone! I am not talking about anything anyone has done, I am not tlaking about anything! Only a list of people who are available to go to on this forum should we need to report something, thatis the point of a moderator, otherwise, why are they moderators?

I was not trying to bring up what ever discussion you are and make a huge deal. ok? this is getting rather upsetting.

No. I'm not looking for mods to abuse at all! I don't do this! I just want to know, who besides Mr mark is available to go to, I really am not sure now adays, and the fact that your saying they don't want to be known makes no sense. Mods are suposed to be know. thats why they are mods! they are there to help with the forum, and for people to go to if they need help. fi they don't want to be know, then they really shouldn't be mods.

For the issues that you are talking about,
there is a thread to report spamming attacks
on. I presume that all of the moderators (now)
check that thread, in order to see if there are
problems.

Might help if they cleaned it up, when done,
but maybe they have a way of knowing that
we didn't when I was there - so that they don't
keep trying to hunt down the same posts.

As to the rest of it, SOME of these mods may
have no real desire to even be one. They may
ignore the post entirely. Remember, a goodly
number were selected almost entirely at random.

I have not mentioned what issues I am talking about. I said nothing of spamming attacks.

Requesting a list of mods, I don't think a request just like that would be taken that seriously to put a list of all mods there, I think.

At least TM1 listed some, that was nice of him.

Given that these low profile mods probably DON'T
want to hear what else you have to complain about,
I'd guess that my using harassment was EXACTLY
right. There is a reason Alex removed the list, after
all.

TM1 listed those which are most active and anyone
could find. No real help to your issue, but I'm afraid
it's all you're going to get, unless someone else steps
up to take on a greater role.

In terms of what you desire, that's the list which you
have to deal with.
