I refuse to watch slasher/snuff movies and movies with violence against women, children, or helpless animals.
But grown men and ferocious animals are acceptable targets?
Not trying to be provocative by any means, but I'm pointing out a double standard.

So what are some movies that you refuse to see? Whether it's because they are poorly made or because they contain horrendously offensive content. There's no limit to having reasons to write off a particular film.
Here's my list:
Cannibal Holocaust
A Serbian film
The Human Centipede
Faces of Death
Cannibal Ferox
Ichi the Killer
I Spit on Your Grave
Salo: the 120 days of Sodom
Gummo
Any more movies made by Jason Friedberg & Aaron Seltzer
Any more movies made by Uwe Boll
Any more movies made by Michael Bay
Gummo feels out of place on this list. It's depressing, but I quite like it.
Ichi the Killer is so over the top, it's ridiculous. Miike at his best, if that's a thing you like...
Salo is very difficult, but I still think it should be watched. it's quite sober, as a film, and surprisingly un-exploitative for a film in which everyone's naked all the time...
From what I understand, it is a very disgusting film. Especially when you get to the circles of excrement and blood. Ugh!

I haven't seen most of the others... Cannibal Holocaust I've seen but can't remember anything about.
oh, and Uwe Boll's Postal is actually fun.
Postal had to be Boll's best film. Mostly for the fact it didn't take itself seriously. Plus there's no way it would ever get made today!

Sausage Party, it doesn't even holm on it's own anti-theistic narrative. It's just stupid and crude.
I know, right? Not to mention that it devolved into very LITERAL food porn!

When The Wind Blows
So basically, any movie about the human cost of war? Especially if it involves nuclear holocaust?
I've seen all those except Barefoot Gen, and they are very bleak.

Ghostbusters (2016)
It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, but it's definitely less of a Ghostbusters story and more of an action/comedy.
I've heard the extended cut is even better, but I haven't seen it.
I forgot to list that one. I still remember the marketing and social media about this movie. "If you don't watch this film, then you're sexist."
Well then I really won't watch it...ever! I'm not gonna be threatened with stupid labels just because I have no interest in watching a film. I felt that that was just the beginning of the rise of wokeness in Hollywood and I do NOT like wokeness.
Neither do I! I am all for equity, social justice, and egalitarianism, but not to the point of condescending forcefulness or mass censorship.
