Usually every time I go out on my own I worry that something embarrassing might happen. It did today. I was waiting at a bus stop in a busy town, and I forgot that this little fire hydrant thing was right behind me, and when the bus came and I went to move, I bumped into the fire hydrant thing and lost my balance. Because I couldn't register what I was tripping on and wasn't expecting it, it made me fall even more and I got wedged between the fire hydrant and the wall. I felt so embarrassed and felt like 100 people were watching. Thankfully I didn't hear anybody laugh, and when I got on the bus nobody stared, so maybe I was just surrounded by mature people who don't think it was that funny. But it was still embarrassing for me.
I felt like a clumsy 70-year-old falling about.

Last January 25th, I fell and broke my pinky.

It sounds like you weren't hurt. That's the most important thing. Fortunately, the vast majority of people grow up beyond a primary school level of maturity. Most likely, if there were curious people, they would want to know if you're all right.

Yes, I understand people looking curiously, as I would do the same. It's not always the point of looking but how you look at someone is what I go by. But I still felt a bit silly. I bruised my leg but that was it. Being embarrassed hurts me more than a bruise.

Your bruise will heal soon.

I know what you mean. I'd be embarrassed, too.

But falling is a part of life. Everybody falls at one time or another.

You can't let the idiots rule the roost.....

I guess if I inserted a LMAO emoji in this post it would get deleted.

People would have to be real jerks to have laughed.
I have met quite a few in my life. 8)

It's quite OK to laugh here in this thread because...well, you know, it's not so embarrassing when you're telling people about it and they laugh. It's only embarrassing at the time it happens. Insert a LMAO emoji. I will. :lmao:

I didn't even realise it was there.

Don't be embarrassed

When I was playing basketball back in Middle School I was walking from the shuttle bus to where we were having our practice at with my classmates and when I wasn't watching where I was going I tripped over this big block thingy that surrounded a playground. Unfortunately for me I was around a bunch of fellow middle schoolers so I got laughed at.

It wasn't until a gang-stalker put it there when you weren't looking. 8O

thats not a gang stalker, its the -thing- merely most (or all) people are just vessels, or pawns,
when you try harder theres gonna be more people- or vessels, throwing s**t and stones,
or, lucky you, the hole governments shimes in, or send some iniquity workers
(the only requirement for public service is to lie, straight up to anybody and lots of perks, stealing and damaging private goods with no repercussions ever)

sorry off topic
making people laugh, after the fact is best,
when you're running around after unruly sheep in the middle of the village, ain't that funny at that moment either

or all the experts in the form of --early retirement- that used to exist just some years ago-, they feel like policing you is for the public good, after all that's their vocation...........**aarr**duty
