The ABC has again failed to carry out “the most basic function of journalism” in its series about women in parliament, according to Sky News host Chris…
A new Coalition approach to alleged ABC 'bias' will be led by Liberal Senator Andrew Bragg has he takes up his new role as chair of the Senate's Environment and Communications Legislation Committee.
The NSW politician will chair the Senate’s critical Environment and Communications Legislation Committee signaling he will concentrate on tackling alleged ABC 'bias'.
Mr Bragg will replace South Australian Senator David Fawcett, indicating a refocusing of Coalition attention on the ABC’s reputation and standards ahead of the next federal election.
In an interview with Sky News Australia Mr Bragg revealed under his chairmanship the Senate Committee would zero in on “crazy stuff” relating to ABC staff publishing "loony" content on private social media accounts.

Most politically independent people, in the know, would acknowledge left-wing ABC bias, imo.
I used to watch the ABC every workday, partly because I liked some of the personalities, but became disillusioned by the way they favoured the left side of politics *constantly*.
I don't have a problem with the ABC when they are reporting non-political events.
I simply resent my taxpayer dollar being spent on an organisation, with a charter to be impartial, that isn't.
I would like to see the ABC privatised and be on an equal footing as other media outlets.
Let them be as partisan as they like, then.
I don't understand why this is so hard to achieve.
utter garbage
The last independent review commissioned to investigate systematic bias in ABC coverage found in favor of the ABC

It has certainly been known for many years that the ABC favors the left in its reporting.
It's interesting to see it confirmed by an independent organistaion which specialises in looking at media bias:

Could you repeat that once more for the ill-informed?
he ABC has a statutory duty to ensure that the gathering and presentation of news and information is impartial according to the recognised standards of objective journalism. Aiming to equip audiences to make up their own minds is consistent with the public service character of the ABC.

I assume the coalition's whiny claims of left wing bias held any (even a shred) credence the ABC would have been taken to court a long time ago for breaching their standards of conbduct. Given this never happened means this is a fantasy in the minds of the coalition apparatchiks and the aspiring clones who vote for them,
The right have long invented phantoms for their fan base to chase
