The only thing they’ll get is FIRED and JAILED, as unions are now worse than useless.

Now if we repealed minimum wage laws and allowed real market values of work and goods determine wages and prices everyone would benefit.

So you've never benefited from publicly owned infrastructure or social spending? This sounds like you've never thought much about how society has contributed to your life except through a misguided and childish ideological lens.

Infrastructure and military is not what I'm talking about. I'm happy to pay for that.

Funny how every capitalist country on earth recognizes the need for government spending in other areas, almost like they've conceded unfettered capitalism only works in theory.

Because China is the biggest producer of throw away plastic crap on this planet and they simply don't care about the environment.

Why do you think the west outsourced everything? To drive down the cost of labour. We should buy as little as possible from China and impose penalties on places with terrible worker's rights and environmental policies. (Although we won't because the people who run our countries don't care about the interests of working people)

That's a lovely strawman you've constructed.

Tariffs on stuff from China hurts the merchant in the West, not China. We are now dependant on stuff they make

Sounds like the merchant's problem. They chose to build their business model poorly, they can deal with the results of that.

And you were just talking about punishment for China for making stuff we want. How do you propose to do it because like I said tariffs are no issue to them

You sound like you think social change happens all at once instead of being a slow process that builds upon successes and learns from failures.
Easy then you've got no success and haven't learned a thing from a century of failure.
Sounds like you're deeply unaware of the history of the labor movement.
Looks like you may have studied at the Donald Trump School of Political Science.

It's not like only one solution can be attempted. You regulate importing plastics and you regulate use of them.

How would you address the issue of plastic pollution? Is there a free market solution or would you just ignore the problem?

I could try imitating the all snark and no content style so many posters seem to enjoy.

Biological breakdown of plastic by bacteria. There is research on this.

Regulation of every piece of plastic and outright banning isn't gonna fly. That's outrageous and impossible.
