I only know two of them. Patrick Stewart, and Leonard Nimoy. The later is no longer with us. So I guess that leaves Patrick Stewart.

One young lady, who was a regular customer at the drugstore I ran the cash register at years ago, always wore T-shirt emblazoned with the words: "If they can send a man to the Moon then why can't they send them all?".

Lt. Uhuru?

She almost dropped out of the cast, but someone persuaded her to stay. That someone was Marten Luther King Jr..

Because she stayed she is still a role model for both Blacks, and for girls, today. So she would be the most socially significant of the list IMHO.

Each of us could go online a look up each name. Most of us would learn that "Joe Blow is known for playing Lt. John Doe in the TV series "Dr. Who Meets Star Trek part 37" and we would realize that "oh THATS who plays my beloved character John Doe". But few would take the time.

But it woulda been nice if the op had stated who each was known for playing (you can skip the well known ones like Shatner, Nimoy, and Patrick Stewart).

Nichelle's brother met an untimely and too-famous end:
