In the UK and US do the majority of women prefer men with darker hair like jet black and very dark brown hair over guys with lighter hair colours ike light brown/blonde?

I posted a photo of myself on yahoo answers once and this women said "i prefer men with darker hair" Although my hair isn't exactley blonde it's more like multicoloured with brown and light colours call it caramel if you want.

So what are your opinion on this subject?

I used to care about hair color and length but a year ago I stopped caring. If I had to choose, I’d say light brown hair and green or hazel eyes are my favorite combo. Otherwise, no preference.

My hair is light brown and my eyes are greeney brown/hazel. I have a strong attraction to ginger women with freckles like the irish type of look

Sadly though I think most red head ladies go for guys with jet black hair and olive/tanned skin :( . Think of Sacha Baron Cohen

I've found that I'm subconsciously drawn to guys with darker hair rather than blonde, although my mum always found herself drawn to blonde guys.

Your hair sounds cool. I pay someone to make my hair lighter and put highlights in. You get that for free!

Don't let one person's preferances make you feel bad.

I find Sacha Baron Cohen very unattractive.

What do you think of light brown/medium brown hair on a guy?

If my hair colour is so ‘cool’ why do so many women lust after guys with jet black hair?

Because everyone has different tastes. Lots of women like blondes or sandy brown hair too. Even red heads. I know I do.

Dark hair is just more common.

I don't see anyone complaining that Ryan Reynolds or Tom Hiddleston don't have dark hair.

I have red hair! I'm not into guys with dark hair.

The guy I currently like has red hair as bright as the sun.

Black/brown are just the most common. People usually like what they're accustomed to seeing.

Most of the people I have been attracted to have had darker hair; however, I've been attracted to men and women with red and blonde hair as well. Those colours just aren't as prominent in my little world.

Well I find the rarity of red hair/freckles on women to be irresistible. Dark/brown hair I dont find so exciting on women since it's so common

Each to there own I guess....

Hope I don't get death threats for saying this but I have never been attracted to women of African and Asian ethnicity.

Dunno why? I guess I have just always been mostly attracted to ladies of my own ethnicity.

And how many women of those ethnicities have you actually spent time around? Just saying could be you just have not met one you found attractive that way. I figure that is a better way to see it than declaring you don't find other ethnicities attractive...if you say things like that in public people may think your a racist jerk.
