I have to keep a diary of my moods. Only abilify works. I have tried two antidepressants to go with it but they make me puke. I have really bad episodes of depression. I dont mind the good feelings though. I feel amazing sometimes. Truly amazing. I cant take care of myself though and I live in a group home. I miss my parents right now.

I was diagnosed with severe to moderate autism as a child. That diagnosis has stayed the same. It makes it more difficult to deal with mental health issues.

Meds can be a useful tool, but sometimes it takes a lot of trys to find the right ones. Daughter has bipolar too, knowing diagnosis is so helpful, it gives us better tools to understand ourselves and make life better. Cheering you on. Do lots of self care as you go.
