It would be so much easier to bump with a partner. Just go gentle on me because I’m so tired.

I had a screaming and crying panic attack when I went to bed because of horrible pain in every position. It felt like my rib was puncturing my lung or organs no matter how I turned, and I was hyperventilating which also hurt like a mofo. Something has definitely happened to make it worse.

I ended up moving to the sofa which would hold me on my side better, propped with tons of pillows in case I moved an inch the wrong direction. Still crying but slept from 6 a.m to about 8.30 which was much needed. It was nice and warm there too compared to my subarctic bedroom with the cement mattress.

I’m going for another X-ray tomorrow and maybe ultrasound because this is just not healing right.

Can't sleep. Head is uncomfortably hot, ears are ringing. Have a lot on my mind.

Killer tinnitus too.

Anyone feel like co-bumping?

^ I shouldn't be awake either. I managed to get an hour of sleep before bolting awake at 1:30. Now it's almost 4am. I'm waiting until 5 before I start the coffee and say to hell with it and start the day.

I do that sometimes to but mine is generally a slow progression when that's happening... a shift that happens over a few weeks to a month.

yeh, my swing takes about 18 days, give or take. but it is inexorable, i have not been able to "keep a shift" ever. prolly had something to do with 2+ decades of rotating shifts at the hospital.

I’m still here.
Ran out of my sedative prescription but tried some other things.
Too sleepy to get up.
Too up to get down.

My head is buzzing like a nuclear reactor and I feel dopey.

Maybe I need food.

Yep. I think that would do it. Lack of shift stability does no one any favors. I have no idea how anyone manages that stuff. It would drive me nuttier.

I have no excuses for my rotating shifts with sleep. It just happens. Busted internal clock? I dunno.

Maybe food would help. I dunno. Would it be potentially problematic to try to eat? I'm not sure how focus is for you right now, or balance for that matter.

YMMV but at least for me, a bit of food helps.
