Bob Saget died of head trauma his family confirms. There is no word on what he hit his head on.

very mysterious, it had to be one heck of a hit on the head. Wonder if he was on blood thinners or something that would have made him extra vulnerable to brain damage through a blow to the head? We will never know, of course. Things that make you go "hmmmmmm"

I was surprised by that too.

He might had a past head trauma that´s caused a blood cloth that was the reason for his sudden death.

The authorities have determined that Bob passed from head trauma,” the Saget family said. “They have concluded that he accidentally hit the back of his head on something, thought nothing of it and went to sleep. No drugs or alcohol were involved.”

The autopsy revealed head trauma.

It's unfortunate that the guy had to die before his time.

But if the family is satisfied with the autopsy's findings, then I'm satisfied.

I've heard of this happening before. Someone has a slip and fall, hits the back of their head, chalks it up to just a goose egg, like most anyone would, and then they die a short time later.

He was COVID-positive, too.

That's how Kurt Vonnegut went, too.

Reminds me of the Billy Mays story. Got bonked on the head with a suitcase on a plane, went to bed with a headache, and died in his sleep.

I'm choosing to believe this is all a coverup for the cocaine fueled hooker orgy that actually killed him, as a bump on the head is far too tame for a legend like him.

I guess I haven't followed the twists and turns in his personal life as some of you may have, but he was older than me and I'm already becoming sadly aware of how fragile the brain gets as one ages, and how dangerous falls are. Nothing is like it used to be. To me, the explanation adds up.

I did a little little digging on that. He sustained irreversible brain injuries after slipping on ice, and was hospitalized for several weeks before he passed away. Being 84 at the time was a contributing factor.

It turned out that Mays actually died from heart disease due to untreated hypertension and cocaine use.

Last Spring I hit the side of my head fairly hard when I was in a frontend collision. But I didn't get it fully examined at the time. Later on I started feeling twinges of pain in that area. So they sent me in for a CAT scan, which showed no damage. But it was stupid of me not to get it checked right away.

I heard the news this AM. This same thing happened to my dentist, but his built up over the period of a few weeks. He fell, and had a seizure a few weeks later. He was very lucky, they drained it and he had no lasting effects. Scary

So, if I bump my head, I'm supposed to call 911 and write my will?! How hard a bump is serious? Are there any warning signs. This is surprising information.
