Otherwise, you may get Saturday Night Palsy
like me.

I did not fall asleep on my hand from being drunk, just from another late night on my computer.

As a student, since elementary through college, I ended up doing that.

I wonder if it affects my present and future...

I have phrases where I suddenly wake up from my sleep in a panic thrashing about because a leg or arm fell asleep due to the way I was laying on it in bed. I have hit my girlfriend a few times waking up from that & disturbed her sleep a lot more. All the feeling usually comes back after being up for like half an hour but there were a couple times when my arm didn't feel rite for the whole day after & taking the anti-inflammatory Aleve didn't help. I think it's a symptom of something like possibly REM Sleep Behavior Disorder or Periodic Limb Movement Disorder. I've had phases of other various sleep problems like Night Terrors & Sleep Paralysis when I was single cuz of my poor mental health & hatred of sleeping alone.
