News and Current Events Problem

I've noticed in the news and current events section that there's a couple of reoccurring problems.

One is that sometimes someone starts a thread without a news article.

The other is someone will post a news article that doesn't match the thread title and or what the OP says about it.

In both cases it feels like being trolled.

Report the threads - they can be moved if they're not news and current events or the titles can be edited to match the content.

Without a linked article It's hard to know if it's news or not, unless you investigate, which nobody should have to do. As for the other problem, it's news, but apparently the OP didn't bother reading the story before posting it.

If there is no linked article, the thread can be moved to some other forum like PPR or Random.
If the title is misleading for any reason, it can be edited to something non-misleading.
Both these things can be easily done by any moderator, to everyone's benefit.
Just report - we don't read everything all the time.
