Does everyone find it Boring being in a Play-Park with your "married with kids" friends?

I think people who aren't parents of young children could very well find it boring, loud, annoying, and/or other unpleasant things. But being a parent (of now grown kids), I can appreciate the value in having adult conversation with someone while the kids run around getting out that energy. Back in the day, I would have thought that was a nice way to spend a few hours in a day. These days? Eh. I prefer to stay home and avoid loud kid filled places. If I am going to hang out with my grandson, for example, I'd rather have him here where I can spoil him rotten, run around and play, and then send him home. As for kids I'm not related to? No thank you. :lol: No kid parks in my near future. Not because I find them boring...I rather like playing on playgrounds, but I do find them loud, chaotic and overwhelming.

"Boring" would be an upgrade for me, some days.

Mrs and daughter display patterns of behavior consistent with BPD.

Too often I have related things to worry about.

As someone who has wanted kids for several years before finally getting pregnant, hanging out in a play park with a parent friend and their child has generally elicited more of a mix of happiness and jealousy, rather than boredom. Many times I've fantasized about just taking someone else's kid home and having them be mine forever.
