It's implicit in the image that man is moving - the brain projects

I see a man with his foot in the air and his arm slightly extended.  For all we know, he could be "breaking wind".

Assuming the horizon is horizontal and terrestrial, he will at least be falling to one side.

you're not supposed to analyze it. Its about your automatic gut reaction the moment you see it. Folks always see him as running. Some see it as toward them. Some as away, and toward the light. Obviously its designed to be "an illusion", and to be ambiguous.

I thought they were running towards at first but then the hand made it look like they are running away because of where the thumb is. So idk first glance looks like running at you, second glance looks like they are running away. Are you supposed to see both?

and now the more I look at it, it only looks like the person is running away.

Well, you can't just present an image to autistic people and expect them not to analyize it.

IMO, perspective distortions of the silhuetto match running away - like the leg on the left is thinner, matching it being away from the looker.

I agree. I just looked at the image, saw that it was running away, was glad when I found out it meant that my brain is female and I'm good at multitasking, and moved on. :P

There probably should be a PTSD "trigger warning" on that image. :|

Running towards me.

I quickly saw a man with an empty right hand running towards me in the dark and unable to see what's in his left advancing hand.

I found out that the test is wrong. I'm bad at multitasking and many other typically female behaviours on other, more rigorous tests.

No analysis was involved in my first impression: A man standing on one leg with one arm partially extended.  Which way he is facing is not apparent to me.
