Taiwan's Ministry of National Defence has issued a war survival handbook telling residents how to prepare for a potential invasion - as fears grow China could stage a full-scale attack on its neighbour.

The 'National Defence Manual' was published on Tuesday as experts warn China now possesses a military arsenal capable of taking over another territory.

The 28-page survival guide tells residents how to respond to China's pressure, including details on how to find bomb shelters via smartphone apps, water and food supplies, as well as information on preparing emergency first aid kits.
