I recently went out somewhere where I hadn't been to since the pandemic started and while I was there I felt like I was the only one there choosing to still wear a disposable mask under a cloth mask and the shopping centre was full of mask-less people but I wasn't feeling threatened and my anxiety wasn't increasing I just felt like a weirdo especially since the people there probably haven't seen me there before unlike in my local areas. It makes me feel like I'm the one with problems and people may be thinking to themselves ''If he is going around with two masks on, then he shouldn't be going out if he's scared''. Obviously I don't know what people are thinking but it made rather self-conscious but I do want to go out and live again but I'm masking still because the virus is still being spread despite vaccination and it feels like it gives me comfort for the anxiety even though I know it is meant to protect other people and not myself and I still do it even though I've had three vaccines to protect against death and hospitalisation and that is still not reassuring me to take off the masks and go out without them.

Okay well as soon as I stopped wearing a mask I got covid. Since I have underlying health conditions I’ve been sick with the milder strain for a week. And it just won’t go away. So if anyone doesn’t keep their opinions to themselves when it comes to wearing masks you can tell them I said that. It’s always easier to get through life not caring so much what people think. But I know how hard that is because it’s human nature to fit it. Just tell them you have to because of health concerns.

Do what is right for you, to heck with other people's opinions! I see a lot of folks wearing masks where I live, and I see others not wearing mask. I think either way is right for the people who make decisions for themselves. No shame, no self blame.

If you feel better wearing a mask do that. At this point anyone who gives someone crap for wearing a mask is just a dumb a**hole.

I see people with masks and without masks all the time, even outside. There's a lot of variation right now because different people have different opinions and comfort levels.

Personally, I don't think anything bad about the folks who are still masked.
