Do you specialize in one topic, or do you have many interests?

Among my favorite topics are the Bible, etymology, ancient history, Spanish, and chemistry.

I like geology, art, architecture (both buildings and landscaping), foreign languages and cultures, animated sitcoms (especially the Simpsons and South Park).

So have you read the biography of Senor Abraham, who created many of the words we use today, and who blew up the Hittites with a chariot full of ammonium nitrate? ;)

As an aside, that was the original "Chariot of Fire."

I am not ultra well-versed in any topic... but I do have a couple of obsessions of sorts

General subjects:
Math
Music Theory
Video Game History

Specific interests:
They Might Be Giants
Final Fantasy

I get obsessed over whatever I am interested in... but I don't really have one over-arching obsession. They come in and out of fashion with me...

Fishing (a.k.a. Red Fisher Jr.)

I'm also an outdoor enthousiast into hiking, berry-picking, camping, canoeing, mountain biking, gardening, and meditating to the lapping of the waves on the shore or the babbling of a brook or the roar of a waterfall. And yes, I'm a student of the psychic and paranormal, and a spiritualist.

Winter sports: cross-country and downhill skiing, snowshoeing, ice-fishing, feeding those curious whiskey jacks (a member of the crow family) that come to visit, and meditating to the breeze whispering through the pines and the spruces.

I love to sketch, paint, and do sculpturing. I've gotten editorial cartoons published, won some snow-scupturing contests, won a pumpkin carving contest, and worked in the carnival business as a portrait and cartoon artist. As it stands I have neither time nor energy for that pursuit and it doesn't pay the bills by itself. OTOH I never rule out reviving that career again some day.

I like to write too. I write in the middle of the night when dealing with life's issues, I also write short stories, essays, some poetry, and writing a book about my life's journey and experiences living with that tic we all share here at WP.

I also brew my own beer, and very good at it, and I keep a select clientelle in good supply.

...And chasing women

Still here after having been through it all...

I am

Papillon

The bible (KJV/Calvinist theology), human behavior (comparing God-given traits verses man-made characteristics), and etymology.
