burglar mows homeowner's lawn before stealing his mower

why do you think the burglar mowed that guy's lawn?
obviously he wanted to check to see if the mower worked. :idea: 38%  38%  [ 5 ]

I recall a plastic surgeon and his surgeon wife invited my parents for dinner back in the late 1970s, They lives in a triple story house in the most expensive part of Melbourne. Indeed, I wouldn't be surprised if rich people have to put their lawnmowers under lock and key in case of neighbors :lol:

This guy literally took the lawn into his own hands.

Some folks might find it a relief to find their mower taken as it's seldom anyone's favourite chore...now they have an excuse.

It is a good excuse to not mow and you can put a sign up so people can’t complain.I haven’t mowed all my lawn yet, just the paths where I walk so I don’t step on something and don’t get soaked from the heavy dew.I think it looks beautiful with wildflowers and grasses.

Yes my Ryobi mower runs on a lithium battery, You can swap the battery to operate on any Ryobi electric garden tool.

Mine is Black and Decker and I have the weed eater, chainsaw and leaf blower that all use the same battery.One of the best investments ever.
The chainsaw is awesome.

Have we heard the "burglar's" side of the story, yet?

Maybe the lawn needed mowing and his intent was to anonymously do a good deed...and when the police showed up he panicked and ran, mistakenly dragging the mower along for a bit before he realized it and released it.

I dunno. Since the whole neighborhood apparently heard him mowing I'll guess it was a gas-powered mower.

So, rather than trespassing, maybe Disturbing the Peace?

well he couldn't have been disturbing too much of the peace as nobody noticed him sufficient for him to get caught.
