I'm teetotal, meaning I don't drink alcohol and have never been drunk before (and I'm not religious nor have any physical health conditions).
Sometimes it makes me feel like an alien on this planet, like I don't belong, because realistically British people (between the ages of about 16-60) that don't care for alcohol are extremely rare, probably about 0000000000000.1% of the UK population.
You should have put the decimal point on the left side of the zeroes. Not to the right side.
But we get what you're saying.
The actual percentage of Brits who dont get sloshed probably really is about 0000000000000.1%. One in a thousand.
But to a nondrinker it probably seems like it's only .00000000000001%. One in a gazillion.
Sorry, I'm not very good at maths.
I do sometimes feel lonely and weird because I don't drink. Even other Aspies I know drink, especially when they go out. So I don't think me not drinking is even due to being Aspie, I'm just different altogether. Whenever I confide in people about it, they just say "loads of people don't drink". Well, I have yet to meet those loads of people.
