The trouble with tattoos is that they could irritate the skin. I see skin irritation within both photos.

Surely it wouldn’t be in sanskrit.

Phoenician works for me.

Does she have a bridal registry?

Can set one up here: https://www.amazon.com/wedding/home?&ta ... dwQAvD_BwE

How did you react?

Was she disappointed by your reaction?

(Inquiring minds want to know…)

I wonder if she was drunk at the time :? I don't find tats attractive & don't have any but I've heard of people getting their partner's name or other tats when they're really drunk. I really shouldn't judge thou cuz I have nasty looking scars I gave myself during a sever fit of psychotic depression about 20 years ago that I regret :(

Getting a tattoo of your romantic partner's name is the most stupid things ever. If I was a tattoo artist I would try to discourage people from getting them or any other tattoo I know they're going to end up regret getting.

Of course, younger people never think how permanent a tattoo really is.
Most everyone knows that real tats are permanent but they don't care at the time. A customer is a paycheck to the tattoo artist & adults deserve the right to make their own decisions about their own bodies. MTV had a show a while back called something like How Far Is Tattoo Far where people like exes or wild friends were picking tattoos for each other. I'm much more concerned by people letting others pick their tats for them.

I was like Aww it’s cute.

I don’t think she was disappointed.

She actually did two tats; the other one is a bigger music design on her arm (not related to my name thanks goodness).
But I was like shocked how she had the courage to get two tattoos at the same time since she never had one before.

She’s so… impulsive. :|

Tattoos are okay. I would never get one, though.

I knew a girl that had her boy friends name tattooed on her behind.I thought that was like a cattle brand since it said ,“Property of Joey W******”.

That’s gross.

Maybe they were into BDSM.

I've known more than a few tattoo artists over the years, and they all claim that getting your partner's name tattooed on you is a curse of sorts...that all those relationships end in 6 months to a year after the tattoo happens. I have no idea if that's true or not. If you two make it past another year, let me know, will ya? I'll go be obnoxious to some of those guys and be like, hey, I know of someone who made it longer than that...your curse is a lie!

I suspect that few relationships last more than a year after becoming somewhat serious regardless of them getting thost tats or not but I may be wrong.

I am against tattoos also - not just because of religious reasons, but because they can be used as a form of tracking ID, covert identification, and OVERT identification with whatever the tattoo symbolizes (i.e. Tramp Stamp.) It wasn't fun to scribble on yourself as a kid, no different as an adult. And some of those things are just plain fugly.
