Feeling frustrated and stressed. I'm struggling to use a program called DNA Painter and getting nowhere fast. I've explained the problem I'm having on a FB genealogy group I go on.
I learn best with clear and precise written instructions focussing on a specific task. As in- Step 1 do this . Step 2 Do that etc. I don't do well with audiovisual based instructions ,especially if there's a lot of stuff that's not directly connected to the difficulty I'm having. When information is presented that way I have to watch a short bit, press pause, and then write down a shortened but still informative copy of what was said. Then I watch a bit more and do the same thing. That can be a laborious task. Despite saying what I needed people still sent me videos to watch.
Does that make me an odd person autism wise? How do you learn best?
