Can't say I blame them, really. I know plenty of people living in cars, vans, rv's, float homes, or just plain in the forest. That's what happens when rent for a 1 bedroom is $2500, 2 bedroom is $3500, and 3 bedroom is pushing $4500/mo in Vancouver. (I'm blessed to be insulated from these prices, but it is all nucking futs and I don't blame people for living aboard sailboats and basically squatting in False Creek.)

Could potentially cost a pretty penny for one of those.. fully restored ones sometimes sell for over $100k these days.
Cool for style points, but there are much more economical camper vans to own.
