There's about four episodes on the podcast Fraudsters that digs into how much Steven Seagal is a douche.

You might not like his acting and you don't have to. But underneath the actor is a real person. His real charactor could be totally different to how he is seen in the films..

There's been plenty of documentation since the 1980s that show he's worse than the characters he plays.

The name sounds familiar, but I don't think I have seen any of his movies.

This has been an interesting discussion.

There is one film of his that I enjoy watching. RiffTrax: A Dangerous Man Preview

The guys from Mystery Science Theater 3000 crack me up.

Watch 'On Deadly Ground', a film so bad it's hilarious. That bar fight.... he beats the crap out of an oil worker who looks about eighty years old in one scene. They must have been short on extras that day.

To be honest, I only really watched Under Siege and its sequel. He supports Putin in real life, though.

That should say all there is to say, quite frankly.

It's like action star Jackie Chan who is not only a POS human being in real life but openly supports the Chinese Communist Party and Xi Jinping.

So many Hollowood stars are really terrible disgusting people in real life. I don't understand why the average person drools over them?

Its the media , an example :

the myth of Bruce Lee started already in '71 when Big Boss came out , the movie poster shows a superhuman hero leaping across the art

This myth has been active untl last yr when it came out that Lee was prolly a drug dealer while in HK , why else would he ask for a scale in one of the Bob Baker letters (Baker was his drug supplier....Linda was also well aware about drugs)

Actually Bleecker wrote a book about it already in '96 but back then fans booed him for suggesting it

The reason why this is not talked about by Lee's estate : $$$.....they profit on telling the myth rather than the truth

(1k posts)

about SS : Id rather watch old kung fu films than his films.....i know a certain ms McCarthy is not popular around here but she has accused SS of me too.....i believe her

I think this just might be the wildest Tommy Lee Jones performance. Also... Gary Busey.

Under Siege (1992)

Apparently Steven Seagal is 6ft4. He doesn’t not always look that tall in his films though.
