Personally, resolutions are pretty-much a continuation of what has been done for awhile. It's best to aviod putting too much stock into New Year's resolutions.

WP related objectives can offer good examples to start.

An example: A rough guide can be a focus on WP discussion-threads receiving 25 or fewer responses. Disc. threads of 25 or fewer responses tend to be less cumbersome/confusing to follow than disc. threads receiving more than 25 responses.

Being mindful of such rough-guides might just be helpful with WP experiences.

The smaller sized discussion threads tend to favor focused responses - encouraging more use of the 'QUOTE' than 'REPLY' options.

Breaking-down posts to paragraphs of fewer than 50 words also proves helpful, and encourages additional interest - as opposed to lengthy blocks of text which can be uncomfortable to read, and follow.

Basically, New year's resolutions can be accomplished quietly by reassessing both the past and present, and future goals - reassesments done over past new year's...........reassessments.

My WP new year's resolution is not to be so impulsive when posting. I'm more impulsive here than anywhere else, online or offline.

On WP related content (or creating content elsewhere), being mindful in framing content (to better reach like-minded viewers) is important. It's more of an art than a science to frame content while minimizing confusion.

if all goes according to plan, i can use my social security to pay off my debts. once that is done, i can start saving up for a mint-condition mary kay cadillac sedan de ville from between the model years '85-'93.

You're right.

But if I write like this , miniposts come out for me .
I can simplify to the bone.

But you would only read paragraphs .

And I wouldn't be tempted to write anything more as time went on.

*You wrote logical things and you are right.

But I couldn't do as you ask.

*It would be a disincentive for me, I have ADHD and among other things I have to translate my ideas mentally from images into Italian words and verify them in broken English.

For me a short post is uninteresting both to read and to write

I'm sorry, I know you're right...

^I understand.^

To-do in the new year: Personally, I've found it beneficial to have a trusted acquaintances (other than immediate family) read back WP posts and responses, and offer helpful feedback to consider in following posts.

It's natural to be hesitant to share personal WP content with immediate family - as immediate family may not be able to offer that important impartial, objective feedback - that is feedback best offered by trusted acquaintances.

To become acquainted with people outside of family friends, relatives is another necessary challenge to be met in the next year!

I've made the same wish on birthday candles every year since I was a child.

New Years I usually just tell myself I want to end the next year with no regrets.
I can't say I was successful this time but I'm willing to try again.

I used to make resolutions. None of them ever were realized.

a resolution is just another goal, and for a goal to be reachable it has to be reasonable, incremental.

I do keep it in mind throughout the year, not to have regrets.
I don't just forget.

I manage to do Lent every year for 40 days with various goals.
That's kind of an achievement unto itself.

Lent is like Ramadan in a way. One sacrifices during Lent.

Yes, but mine isn't always related to food or consumption.
Eid and Easter are somewhat similar though.

Have my very first general check up.
The type that should-be-done-every-year check up.

But I'm not sure if I saved enough now.
If not, I'll save even just for this year.

I already have a few resolutions done.

Like not leaving the house without a wristwatch.

Or actually spend on glasses every particular month of a year, progressively find cheaper options months before which aligns with my habit of looking at online stores and occasionally inquiring at optometrist's clinics every other month of walking on malls in weekends.

Or just get a bike so I'd be biking to work than spend hundreds worth commuting...
Or having to leave very early to save and travel longer even if walking for hours is an already established habit of mine, I just want a faster yet just as cheaper option.

So it's either something super simple...
Or something that's already aligned with an already established habit.

Or a one-time thing then 'done'! Before going for something else... Like learning about bike maintenance and what I want with it by owning a bike that I would habitually use.

I don't have a WP related resolution.
Not yet anyway.

For me to have a WP related resolution lies with me finding a different outlet in boredom and/or wanting to be more updated in anything autism related with hopes of stumbling across something that would work with me...
Which is actually the main cause of my screentime and mindless scrolling.

My New Year's resolution is to take it in stride every time someone misgenders me, especially if they don't know me very well.
