Newbie with AuDHD

Hello folks!

I'm Cam (she/they). I'm 27 and I'm a grad student. I was recently diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, and Alexithymia. I'm hoping to make friends and learn more about Autism!

I'm in the Midwest US, and noticed there really aren't any groups or resources for Autistic adults, so I'm really excited to have found this forum!

Hi Cam, Welcome to Wrong Planet.

You indicated that you had alexithymia
So I looked the word up on the internet.

Alexithymia is when a person has difficulty identifying and expressing emotions. It is not a mental health disorder. People with alexithymia may have problems maintaining relationships and taking part in social situations.

I guess by definition, I would fit that category.

So anyways, welcome to the site.

Welcome to Wrong Planet. I like your composite word for autism/ADHD "AuDHD". That one is new to me. My wife is ADHD, so that describes our marriage :lol:.
