One of mine, too. :(

Let’s make a deal, you do mine and I’ll do your’s like the old movie.
I hope no one takes this seriously.lol

You wouldn't believe how many people have offered to do it for me.
I think they're serious too.
Let it be known that I neither requested nor arranged such immoral, nefarious plans.

Since mine is the father of my kids I actually wouldn’t want anything like that to happen to him, it would distress them and they have been through enough.
I was happy to hear he got tazed by the cops.

Well, this thread certainly took a different track than the article in the OP.

Anyways, regarding pigs.. the most prolific serial killer in BC history, Willie Pickton, disposed of dozens of sex workers’ bodies on the family pig farm. There was also a party hall on the property where Hells Angels types would go to party called “Piggy’s Palace,” and a bouncer I used to work with at a bar told me he had partied there with them. That was back when the case was big news and everyone was creeped out.

It’s suspected that Willie’s brother is one of the active serial killers on the DTES to this day. People think he not only knew about Willie and turned a blind eye, but was part of the whole thing. He’s been sighted creeping people out etc. According to people in the hood there are at Least two active serial killers in the area. And according to my cousin, there’s one active about 10 minutes from where I live - probably more in the region and everywhere, really. Far too many people disappear for there not to be.. and cops don’t want to spook serial killers into going into hiding or relocating so they never put anything in the news. Makes sense.

Wasn't it Robert Pickton?

This is the father of my kids too.
The one who disowned and sued my daughter.
It's all no-contact so the kids wouldn't care.
The only time he rears his ugly head is to sue us.

But yeah, I hope some day they can reconcile.
I wish more than anything he was a decent dad.

My other one might be dead of natural causes.
I have no clue and prefer to keep it that way.

A lot of them were Indigenous women and / or sex workers.
It's really sad that these disappearances don't get more coverage.

I haven't spoken to mine in person or phone / email / text for about 20 years.
Only via lawyers when he decides he wants to buy new cars for lawyers instead of paying support.
Each court action costs about $100,000 between the two of us.
I'm not allowed to say no when he starts one.
I end up winning but I still have to pay counsel.
Then he refuses to follow the order, and two years later sues to change the order so he isn't in default.
Then he loses again.

It's a magic carousel that's cost me about half a million bucks (debt) over 25 years, plus interest.

He once berated me in public because I'd put a box for winter boots at the curb after Christmas.
He said "I know how much you earn, and what your living expenses are. You can't afford them!"
He said I must have neglected the kids to get them.
I think they were around $80. lol

Robert William “Willy” Pickton - everyone knew him as Willy/Willie. Must have gone by his middle name as some people do.

What's up with Pickton?
Is he eligible for parole soon?

Most of them get noticed by someone. I’m in a fb group for the DTES and when people go missing there are fb posts and missing persons reports filed etc for many.

Even though there have been decades of missing/murdered Indigenous women and sex workers etc, still to this day their disappearances are not investigated anywhere near as thoroughly as others might be. Also difficult cases to track when people live very high risk lifestyles - not easy for law enforcement even when they do try.

But there are many people that disappear that people may assume no one would miss but people notice the lack of their presence on a street corner or in an alley. And now thanks to social media, people talk about it. I’m sure some aren’t noticed.. but I think more are noticed than people might think as even homeless drug addicted sex workers have social circles that notice when they’re not there.

Googled. It’s been 20 years so he’s eligible for parole in another 5 years.

Kinda nuts for a guy who confessed to killing 49 people. (Charged with 26, convicted of 6.)

Insane.

Bernardo was denied parole after 25, so there's hope.

I can’t imagine a scenario where they’re like “Oh yeah, you’re rehabilitated! Enjoy free society, Willy!”

That would be weird.

My nephew was on the missing persons database but then they found him living in a storage shed in Kansas.
Some people don’t want to be found.
Some are really missing.

My cousin (stunning, wealthy, beautiful California woman with kids) left her husband and children so she could live in an unheated garage and have another baby, with her drug dealer. Child services tried to find her and she took off. Last I heard they're both still missing. My aunt and uncle actually gave up trying to find her, or help.
