It’s not exactly my type of my music, but this song resonates with me. My ex used to say or imply that I was ugly a lot. He said that, due to my ugliness, no one else would ever want me. Not very nice. Obviously, what he says shouldn’t matter, but it can get to a person after hearing it often enough over time, especially if they are being abused in other ways.
