But due to recent threads, something to be clarified:

It is not that women from X and Y are « easier », because that’s not the right term, it is simply due to the weird fact that women from X and Y countries are far more likely to find me attractive (as first impression, based on looks, which is the initial gateway spark for everything else). While with local women I have the impression that I am just too « meh » for the vast majority.

So what « easier » is the initial attraction with women from these countries, but not those women themselves,
so that makes the whole dating experience feels easier: when someone likes you regardless of their nationality, things flow well. I guess that’s what se guys experienced too.

You look entirely "normal" for Canada.

Why do you suppose women from specific countries are more likely to find you attractive?

41 years of life experience, not only the tinder thing.

I don’t really get it. I tend to find everyone equally attractive or unattractive, depending on how you look at it. I don’t discriminate based on race or ethnicity, but I’m a demi so maybe that’s why.

It is not only from specific countries, but overall, even if they are from white dominated western countries, often I attract only the non-white ethnicities (not complaining, but it is too frequent to the point it cannot be a coincidence).
Like back in the okcupid (when it was not sh***y) I had dates with African/Asian Americans/Europeans (usually UN and NGO staff) and often went well, while the Whites despite being encountered more often, they never showed the slightest interest.

I don’t find one ethnicity less attractive than other, attractive is attractive.

I never used online dating, so I can’t comment on that.

I think that people tend to worry about looks too much. Other things are more important.

There was a striking difference in matches’ diversity between my real pic vs a fake pic, for the same location:

I wouldn’t want to date such shallow people.

I care more about other things.

I guess online dating isn’t for me.

Like I remember when using with my real pic, in location US Houston: ALL matches were POC, no Whites at all - as if there’s no White population in that area.

When I switched to a fake profile (with attractive white dude pic), the matches were by far more representative of the area’s diversity.

I got zero matches in countries such as Ukraine and Turkey, while hundreds in countries like Thailand, Philippines, Morocco and Kenya. Come on, there’s a social phenomena in all this.

I would agree that there could be a certain social phenomena, especially in certain locales.

I just don’t understand why people are so obsessed with appearance, especially past a certain age. It’s sort of cringey.

Having things in common and liking who a person is are more important IMO.

Because this how most humans operate, Tinder’s swipe left/right system is really very representative of real life’s FIRST impressions - which is based on overall appearance, that’s why it got popular. Tinder is the facebook of dating, everyone seems using it.

I’m glad I don’t operate like most humans. It sounds incredibly dull.

I don’t use Facebook, either (also incredibly dull).
