Why I want to see the Nickelodeon cartoon series "SpongeBob

*Remember this is all my opinion*

This show has lasted long enough and the voice actors are getting older plus Tom Kenny can no longer do the iconic voice

I just want to see Nickelodeon move forward and leave the past behind!

The time has come to put SpongeBob out to pasture!

What do you guys think?

I feel that I'm not wrong in my desires to see this show end

It has gotten worse over the years and Nick just CAN'T let it go!

SpongeBob is killing them!! !

It's fair, when a show lasts too long it dilutes the quality. The best you can hope for is a second wind, although it does happen occasionally.

Shows how out of touch I am now since I stopped watching TV altogether... I thought SB was "done" many, many years ago, and all that stuff still on the "boobtube" was reruns. Oh well. lol

The high point of the Spongebob franchise was the movie . . . until David Hasselhoff showed up.

Then the entire franchise took a nosedive.

Nickelodeon is STILL pushing this show to the detriment of their network!

I didn't know SpongeBob was still going. I did used to like it quite a bit, but I thought it started going downhill like quite a while back, so I am kind of surprised it's still going.

I would probably still enjoy some of the older episodes if I put them on, but yeah, I don't even want to see how it is now, since it already started going downhill years ago.

TBH, I pretty much feel the same way about Pokémon.

Don't get me wrong though, I still like Pokémon, but I'm starting to think it's losing its novelty, but IDK.

Maybe I should give Horizons and Scarlet/Violet a chance before making judgments on them.

I have to admit, though, Scumb- excuse me, Spongebob had really ran for FAR too long, and have the old episodes put on a channel that run reruns (or just simply watch them on Paramount+).

And do NOT get me started on the episodes Nitwitting, A Pal for Gary, and One Course Meal! :roll: :wall:

Well, then you won't be thrilled to learn Beavis and Butthead are back with new episodes. You'd probably find them just as lousy as the old ones.
