Yes. Japan is going the same way. Low birth rates cause a lot of problems once everyone begins to retire at the same time.

Too successful? It was successful enough. If the One Child Policy was kept for a few more generations it would achieve the goal of reducing the population.

Yes I'm aware of the economic problems caused by the population of retirees outnumbering the working population and these problems are significant but they should be able to put up with a few generations of temporary inconvenience if it ensures centuries of prosperity for the generations to come.

I used to subscribe to China Uncensored. But, I later found that Chris Chappell was spreading anti-American messages on his America Uncovered channel.





So, I started wondering how accurate his reporting on China was, and stopped subscribing to China Uncensored.

It's hard to get accurate reporting on China, Chinese domestic sources lie, but so do the opposition sources and so do foreign sources.
