seriously, florida has hit rock bottom and is now digging. how much worse can it get down there?

I remember when I was in elementary school, they showed us a video about slavery. It was story based and it went something like this assuming I remember it correctly. There was a slave tending to the horses on a plantation and the owner of the plantation gave him strict orders not to let his only son ride the horses. The owner's son comes down asking to ride the horses and the slave told him no. The son uses some twisted logic saying that if the slave answers to his father he must answer to him as well. Not knowing how to respond to that, the slave lets the son ride one of the horses. The horse freaks out and throws off the boy and he gets injured. The master finds out and he's furious. He gets out a whip and starts whipping the slave hard. As the whip wounds grew in number, they showed blood.

when this country splits apart, i have a strong feeling the southern states will reinstitute slavery, as they will no longer be restrained by the national constitution forbidding it.

The American Psychological Association need to intervene. Enacting a law breaches jurisprudence on the grounds that it enables a narrative that state sanctioned physical and psychological trauma of Americans was justifiable.

Now Putin and XiPeng can turn around and say the the enslavement and reprogramming of Ukrainians or Uighers is also beneficial to them.

thankfully the country will split apart before the south drags the north down with them.

All the world's leadership is corrupt and serves a corrupted/brainwashed populace. Some are better at hiding it than others, the more resources at your disposal the more sophisticated the methods you can deploy

some parts will be closer to aldous huxley's "brave new world," while others will be closer to george orwell's "1984."

Slavery never ended.People all over the world are bought and sold everyday.
It’s not just the slave owner who is guilty, the person who sold the slave AND the people that buy the goods knowingly.
The North didn’t condone slavery, but they had no problem buying the cotton for the textile mills.How many of them got rich and never owned a slave?They knew where the product came from and didn’t care.

To be fair, we did at least in principle fight a war to end chattel slavery in the United States.
