I haven't found anything that really helped me get through both my breakups except getting in another relationship. Trying to work on myself, focusing on work or trying to find work, trying to socialize with people outside work & online, seeing a psych & taking psych meds, posting about things online, analyzing why my relationship failed & trying to figure out how I could manage things better in case I could get another relationship, being part of an offline support group, trying to develop life skills, listening to breakup songs & crying myself to sleep, listening to comedy music & laughing, trying to find another relationship, developing a mega huge crush on a celeb; it was all just coping mechanisms that kept me from killing myself but I was not very happy till I got in my next relationship. Some of those things were very helpful for getting in another relationship & making my current relationship work thou. I know that sounds very depressing & screwed-up & it's probably generally bad advice to get in another relationship while your still rebounding but I'm very odd even compared to other Aspies. Being in a relationship might be a major crutch for something but I usually feel fairly happy in my current relationship.
