Oh I've seen that and read the book. I thought you meant Supernatural.

There is also a prequel series for Supernatural. It’s called The Winchesters

I like this forum post. At first I saw, everything was 20% or 0%, and I thought "that's interesting." Then I noticed 20% was 1 vote each.
I'm not sure I can say any are my favorite but I voted for the one that I can watch multitple times.
Of the titles listed, I have the series on disc for several. That indicates some favoritism.

Star Wars - pre-Disney shows, though the Disney shows I've seen are good.
Dexter
House
Firefly

I don't have Breaking Bad, but it was an excellent series.
I also enjoyed Grimm when it was originally on. It is in syndication now on Comet TV.

There are a lot of series I really enjoy that are not on the list.
This is what's in my DVD/Blu-Ray collection. I am not listing film series. I cannot really pick a favorite.

I think you are a man who likes what I like. I have all the series I listed for the poll, plus quite a few more. I also have 742 movies on dvd as well. I recently had to take them all out of their cases and put them in sleeved carry cases to condense my collection. I love watching House too.

Lucky Star is a good series, I wish it was longer than 24 episodes and an OVA.

It was a tough one between Star Wars and Breaking Bad, but I had to go with the former.

if we're talking high school girl slice of life, I must admit I prefer Azumanga Daioh. All of the characters are dripping with neurodivergent vibes

I seldom watch TV and haven't seen anything on the list except Dexter and Breaking Bad.
I haven't seen the other ones people are mentioning either.

I voted for Dexter. I would have named it on my own if it wasn't in the list.

Other:

Six Feet Under (note the Michael C Hall theme)

I like several series on the list a lot. I picked Firefly [2002–2003] because it is possibly my favorite and is certainly my favorite of those listed.

But I have been watching TV since the 1950s (NO! not continuously...sometimes I sleep or eat). It is hard to pick just one favorite. There are a number of shows that I would gladly stop what I was doing to watch and that I would gladly join you in watching every episode of.

More of my very favorite shows to watch, in alphabetical order:
Archer [2009–2023]
The Avengers [1961–1969]
Babylon 5, et al. [1993–?]
Doctor Who, et al. [1963–?]
Farscape [1999–2003]
Last of the Summer Wine [1973–2010]
Lexx [1996–2002]
Max Headroom [1987–1988]
Red Dwarf [1988–?]
The Red Green Show [1991–2006]

Sometimes they overlap!

Last night I watched the Doctor Who {2005 revival} Season 7 Episode 12: "The Crimson Horror" [2013]. One of the characters seemed strangely familiar. Afterwards I checked and it was Diana Rigg who, 45 years earlier, had been "Emma Peel" in The Avengers! She was was spectacular and much-loved in that series...and through it became the first female action hero on American TV!

Diana Rigg had a prominent part in Game of Thrones incidentally

Nice choice! I’ve only seen a few of the anime series, and of course the live action movie which i quite enjoyed.

I really like the Legend remake movies, all except for the choice of music.

The main series is definitely worth watching, although the pacing of the end is a bit slow.

The live action movie is pretty good too (although that's an unpopular opinion among some of the fanbase). It misses out on a lot of the story, and Nakazato's driving is wrong (he brags about his grip driving but they show him drifting most of the time).

Not including little things like that it's still a fun movie to watch.

I don't like how they make Bunta into an abusive drunk, instead of a strict but loving father who has been to a bar.

I liked how this show depicted working class Japanese life. There may be others but this is one that seemed realistic to me.

I agree that I was upset to see Bunta portrayed as a drunk. At the time I thought it a reflection of Chinese stereotypes of Japanese (the film was actually made by Chinese filming in Japan).

There are a lot of series that have been mentioned that I have seen, but also some that I have never heard of. I’ll be looking them up and seeing if it’s something that I will like. Thanks for all the great replies.

In regards to anime/manga, mostly stopped watching them back when Akira and Ninja Scroll were introduced in Australia. I do have one question though. What is a moe girl?

That's an interesting angle I'd never considered.
