I mean, not this site. But the planet earth.

Everything is designed for NTs and their wellbeing.
Schools and colleges are full of normies of same kind
Job interviews are simply autism tests that ensure you are normal enough
Trying to fit in feels like beating a dead horse, tiresome and pointless

I can validate much of what you say. It can be fristrating being different. It can be frustrating being a minority.

On the other hand, one mist ne careful about “all or nothing thinking”. There are many good things about this world. Some things I am unusually well suited to BECAUSE I am different. And maybe the world needs me because of that.

I try to think of it like a game of cards; it's so much more rewarding to play a poor hand well than to just phone it in because you're holding all the aces.

Of course that doesn't make it any less pleasant in the moment...

I don't like the NT attitude that some people have with us. There is a misconception that because autism is an invisible disability that we are clueless and aren't aware of our surroundings and need to be told. The other misconception is that you have to look like you are autistic.

Wow.. this thread is So to the point....and the holidazzzes does not necessarily make it any better . :!:
but we are still expected to smile when around these NT like peeps .. Have learned to privately growl at these types
on bad days ... but sometimes when not paying attention ..it comes outloud .... :oops: :roll:
