The whole superpower thing is garbage, but I think my ASD is why I was so resistant to peer pressure as a teenager.

I didn't have to resist peer pressure. I was oblivious to it. If anyone tried to pressure me into anything, I didn't notice. I just kept doing my own thing, and others did theirs.

I have never met people that think my Autism has given me any special powers or gifts. On the opposite people tend to observe my lack of social cunningness and based on that underestimate me.

I'm learning to be more circumspect about describing myself as having a 'superpower'. Like everyone else has said, not all autistic people have something they excel at.

I was of above average intelligence; this may or may not be related to autism at all. I hate the word 'gifted'. I really hate the term 'Little Professor Syndrome'.
