What is your favorite sonic character?

My favorites are Sonic the Hedgehog and Knuckles the Echidna because of their great abilities. I also like Tails, Amy and Shadow. And the ones I hate the most are most of the characters from the Archie comics (except Sally Acorn and Scourge the Hedgehog, they're the only ones I like). I would like to know your opinion?

Shadow is my favourite Sonic character, as a kid I loved his design and thought he was so cool but in retrospect something more compelling made me gravitate towards his character arc of overcoming ptsd and his struggle with finding his own identity and add to that the fact that he was a bit of a loner, he really resonated with me as a kid because although I'd struggle to empathise I could instinctively relate to his character even at such a young age which is crazy to reflect on now how intuitively aware I was of my environment without knowing it. Even lately I find myself relating to Shadow in my twenties going through therapy after overcoming cognitive distortions I had deep-rooted in my psyche suppressing my memories of traumatic events when I was growing up as a kid and adolescent and right up to a young adult. It's really bizarre to me just how much his character resonates with me still years later.

I was obsessed with Tails growing up.

I hated that you couldn't play as him for years though, outside the GBA games. Sonic hero's doesn't really count.

Blaze would be my second, the best female character by far but underutilized.

Never cared much for shadow or Big. Hated that Australian raccoon.

Tails, Blaze and Rouge. To a point that id created my own character Janus the Fox on them.

Dr. Eggman. I will quote him on a regular basis, and also he has some of the best boss themes ever, especially in Sonic Mania.

There's this one character from the Sonic Archie Comics, his name is Shard the Metal Sonic. He's cool.
If you mean characters from the games, of course I'm gonna choose the one character closest to Shard; regular Metal!

Probably Shadow. Initially, his design was what got me into him, but when I played the games and read about his backstory, he got even better. In some ways, I find him relatable.
