What kind of bad advice have you gotten about working and job search?

I don't remember getting bad advice. I remember getting a lot of good advice from teachers at school and college and ignoring it completely.

I think it’s kind of hard to remember bad advice the only thing I can think of relating to work and bad advice is suggesting I using DBT interpersonal skills to diffuse work conflicts as anytime I’ve tried to use these skills recommended by therapists I end up being bullied even more and it escalated the situations even when following the protocol step by step.
