China's panda bears are coming to US zoos

I know this news is a week old, but this bit of good news made me smile.

A while back the Chinese government recalled their pandas from American zoos. But after Xi and Biden talked president Xi Jinping decided to return some of the beloved pandas to American zoos as a symbol of good will.

Maybe there's a real chance now that China and the US can patch things up and avoid going to war?

Its...a ray of hope!

I didn’t know that China had taken back the pandas that were at the Smithsonian Zoo earlier this month. That’s really sad. I loved seeing them there on the few occasions I’ve gone to that zoo.

They were apparently at the Smithsonian Zoo since 2000, so they must be getting up there.
