I spent ages putting in my date of birth a while ago- getting the format right in the American style. Then I had my birthday and my age didn't change. Why do we have to put our DOB in if it's not going to change it?

I had trouble getting my age to display correctly until I ignored the format "advice" where you enter the date and, instead, used this format: 13-12-2023

Yep, that's what I did as well. Apparently there's no check of validity as there is no 17th month.

Yeah - one of many broken things here, unfortunately.

Yes I tried that to start with and it didn't work so I put it as the American style mm/dd/yyyy and it added my age to my description. But didn't change it automatically.

The American style of mm/dd/yyyy is known to give the wrong age.

Umm, sorry to labour the point but this has worked for at least three four members... (eg: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=417564&p=9406203#p9406587)
Today Dec 14th would be entered literally dd-mm-yyyy as 14-12-2023
No spaces, just as it appears above.
You're clicking the "Update Profile" button, right at the bottom of the screen?
