You do realize even if he goes to jail he can still be president, right?

That's exactly what happened with Hitler.

Trump would pack his cabinet with sychaphants and fascists who'd help him to fire all government employees and replace them with Trump cultists, seek to overturn the constitution, imprison anyone critical of Trump (expect late night comedians to be rounded up with reporters, congressional and state level liberals), along with mass deportations and internment starting with illegals, and then from one scapegoated minority such as Muslims to the next. And say bye bye to any further Presidential elections. Or at least that's what Trump would like to see.

And then the world would collectively turn their back on the USA as much as economically possible. People would pass over American products for alternatives, cancel vacations and business trips, and generally shun the country and its products & services as much as possible.

If trump quadrupled down on being a dipshit to as many people as possible the USA would find themselves in the biggest trump slump ever. The small minded racist xenophobes within the USA don't have enough purchasing power the keep America going strong. There's only so much protectionist policies can do to sustain things.. and it's not enough. It'd take time to really have a full effect, but IF trump were potus again and he accelerated his hitler fantasy wet dream BS then the repercussions of it all would be felt faster, too.. because the world already knows Exactly what kind of s**tbag he is and wouldn't need to take any time to make up their minds about how to react.

Mexico made moves to sign deals with South American corn & grain suppliers when trump was being a dink. If trump strolled into the white house and turned up being a dickhead to Maximum Effort, more and more trading partners would just do business elsewhere a whole lot quicker.. let American corporations and citizens feel the pain right in their wallets so that those with the power to do something about a reckless potus can have him removed from office due to his rapidly declining mental health and try to salvage what's left of their relationships with the rest of the word.

I still think he's going to be disqualified or in jail before he has a chance of re-election to wreak havoc.

And the thing is, Trump would tell his cult how America under his aegis was respected by the whole world, and if the world didn't, then they were just jealous of him and America. And said Trump cult would believe it!

I know. :/ It's f*****g bonkers how that goof can make a BS statement about how he rebuilt the military.. that they didn't have any bullets.. and that the economy was the best ever under his presidency - meanwhile, the military was fine and pretty much has as record budget every year, and the economy wasn't so s**t hot under trump.. failed trade war, stupid unsustainable tax cuts for the rich etc etc resulting in 7.8 TRILLION DOLLARS being added to the national debt in just 4 years.

The military is very real.. a tangible thing people can see. So are accounting ledgers and public reports on the state of the union and its financial figures. Yet his cult members actually think these sorts of statements he made are true - totally f*****g nuts.

MAGA would be replaced with MTGA but it would never work because Trump was never great.

We'd be stuck in an evangelical Christian theocracy, and everthing even remotely amusing would be banned. TV would go back to the days where you couldn't say the word "pregnant", and movies would go back to the Hays Code era. All genres of secular music would be banned (except maybe country, and even then, only songs that mentioned God a certain number of times would be allowed).

All sex outside of heterosexual marriage and non-procreational sex would be banned.


The latter especially is why Trump must be stopped at all costs.

And Yet none of that would personally apply to Trump. He'd be having tons of extramarital sex, as always, and in his free time he'd be watching porn (how else would he even know who Stormy Daniels was?).

Probably not. He’s a gross old man with body odour and incontinence issues + dementia and so on. The only extra marital sex he’s having is if he pays for it - and pays a Lot.

It'll be over soon. Even his cult member devotee numbers are dwindling. He can't attract crowds to his rallies anymore. He keeps having to book smaller and smaller venues, and then rambles incoherently due to dementia so people just get up and walk out mid-speech. He has a snowballs chance in hell of being re-elected and somehow staying out of jail.

It's all a downward spiral now.. just a big fat orange painted turd circling the drain as America flushes.

I hope to Christ you're right. For the longest time I had been certain my country would never make the mistake again of reelecting him. But like H.L. Menken, I've since come to lose confidence in the common sense of my fellow citizens.
