Are you scared of snakes?

Not really.

Snakes are a part of nature. Why would I be scared of them?

No. But they are a common phobia. I used to work in a store that sold greeting cards and there was one with a snake on it and the person who did the store displays was unable to bring herself to touch it, so I had to put it in the display for her.

Not really. I even once got my photo taken while holding an albino python. The snake must have been very tame, since a lot of kids were getting their pictures taken with him too, but other people were like, "Nope".

I have a healthy respect for them, but I'm not afraid.
Snakes are very common where I live so one gets used to them being around, and if you don't antagonise them, or go poking around under logs and such, they'll usually leave you alone.

A little bit, yes. I wouldn't say i was phobic but I don't like the way they move. It makes me feel a bit queasy. I have held them and again the way the muscles move inside just gives me unpleasant feelings.

Nope.

But that doesn't mean I'm cocky enough to claim to know how to identify snakes and know (or if I could) any appropriate knowledge of handling any.

I don't think so? I mean, as a kid I liked looking at the snakes in a zoo (and mom hated it), but on the other hand, I won't go closer to a viper if I see one, but that's just healthy caution, isn't it? Not that there are lots of snakes around here to begin with; vipers are the only poisonous ones that can be found in the wild around here if I remember correctly.

No, but my dad is. If he gives me trouble, I might purchase one as a pet and it'll live in my room.

I love snakes. One could even say that I’m attached to them.

I once saw an Adder in the wild. Oddly, I was calm and said 'Oh, that's an Adder' and I let it pass in front of me. Adders are deadly so I'm surprised I was that calm. I recognised it as an Adder because there were warning signs up so I recognised the markings from the signs.

One time I stroked a snake. It was apparently a fairly harmless snake and their owner let me do so. Felt strange. I wouldn't want one as a pet. I'm more of a cat person.

I don't really care for them, but they don't particularly scare me.

There's only one poisonous species near me so they're not exactly a threat.

I'm only afraid of the poisonous snakes but IDK how to tell the difference thanx to bad eyesight. I haven't handled any snakes but I wouldn't mind hanling one if I knew it was non-poisonous.
