Nearly a foot of snow overnight = stuck vehicles everywhere.

Drove the truck today. New snow tires + 4x4 + ~1000lbs of demolition scrap in the back = I can pretty much drive anywhere.

I didn't go far - job I'm just about finished is about 20mins from home.

Saw a lot of stuck cars on my way there.

On my way back I saw a car hauler on either side of a hill on the highway I was on picking up stuck cars.. double decker car haulers! I've never ever seen that before. Not enough tow trucks in any city here to handle the number of cars stuck everywhere today.

Of course there was a weather warning that told people to stay home if at all possible.. only drive if you HAVE TO.. but so many people are so paycheque to paycheque they can't afford to skip 2-3 days work while there's snow covering everything so they try to drive anyways. Sad, really.

You may be able to drive in any sort of weather but I doubt there is much you can do about the drivers around you!
The only way to stay out of accidents is to stay home.

That explains why some stores in my area were closed yesterday.

Meh, what are we going to do - nerf the world?

I'd stay home if I didn't have anything to do. But I have a job to finish. And I have multiple vehicles to choose from so took the most capable one and it was totally fine. I only drove 20 mins away so w/e. But I could drive pretty much anywhere with it, really.
