I don't get why people find swearing funny. Bleeping out normal words so that they *sound* like swears, now that's funny, especially on a kid's show. I once saw a video of Count Von Count from Sesame Street singing, and they bleeped out the word "count" so it sounded a lot like the F word.
It's context, isn't it? Swearing isn't funny in itself, but when it's inappropriate it can be funny. I enjoy bleeped swear words more too, particularly when it's excessive, because you have to imagine what is being said and that's always funnier.
I used to have a parrot that did know some swear words but she'd picked them up from a previous owner and she more or less stopped saying them because she stopped hearing them when she came to us. But it was always funny when she did swear because it was out of context.
Personally I swear very rarely partly because those words feel strange to say, partly because i think there are more interesting words to use and partly because when I do swear i like it to have impact.
