I'm not saying that every tomboy should flock to me. No, that's not what I want. Just one is enough. One who is like-minded, not buffy, understands me is what I'm fine with. I will do my best to maintain our relationship (hypothetical since I won't be getting that relationship due to a very small population in my country).

If you like one particular tomboy, go get to know her better. Finding common interests shouldn't be that hard.

Passively waiting for even one woman to 'flock' to you is a total waste of time, especially when there are other men actively pursuing women in your area.  Do not be surprised when the woman of your dreams forms a relationship with a more assertive man and they leave you in the dust of their passing.

Summarize the characteristics of people you don't want to interact with, then recognize them and avoid them. It works as a social strategy, find your partner among what you consider to be "normal people",Including the tomboy mentioned in this thread

Is it possible for a girlish girl as a kid to become tomboyish as she gets older and not the other way around? When I was really young I had long hair and would wear dresses and even went through a phase where all I wanted to wear were dresses, and I would sometimes put on my mom's makeup or do my nails. But by the time I was a teenager I wore my hair shorter and hated to wear skirts or dresses and became more and more into video games and comic books. I would hang around with my two cousins who were both boys because they liked games and comics, too. My mother would get on my nerves for not socializing with other kids at school or dressing like other girls my age and still being only really interested in "kid stuff". And of course, I wasn't diagnosed.

For years I wondered why it was more acceptable for girls to like "boy things" than it was for boys to like "girl things", but I know why now. It's because most people thing girl things are inferior to boy things. Big shock. Why are people still so rigid when it comes to gender roles?

Obviously it's not a good idea to passively wait but then again. I am like in high school so idk. Still, I have to make it possible. Waiting was never an option.

Do you have hobbies and interests?
That's how most people I know IRL found their long-term partners.

Why yes I do have hobbies and interests. I like history, grand strategy games, politics. I am a coin collector and have shown my obsession with coins from various nations and time periods to others once. They're good, I tell ya!

Well, only one person, except they didn't tell me that they collect coins though but given the shared interest in history, they would certainly be impressed by my coins.

Somehow related as she is talking about "typically feminine and masculine" activities in kids. Still one of the best scientific explanations on the subject I came accross.
